Not everyone wants your progress. Though they stand by your side, but they only whisper doubts, not out of concern or a logical rationale to plan right, but in sharing false wisdom to plague you with uncertainty and drown you in insecurity and resist you from trying.
Others are experts in hurling spears of criticism. Their comment is to always dissect, distort or demand for your attention by a narrative. They want to hijack your focus by amplifying irrelevance.
This experience is not exclusive to you Many successful people before you have tolled this path. Bystanders and busybodies are enemies of the progress to anyone with a desire to succeed exceptionally. They come to test your resilience.
Like someone said, first understand that criticism is the tax you pay when you occupy a new territory of success. Never take criticism from a person you wouldn’t take advice from.
Not all wisdom is for you. Fear can be disguised as wisdom too. Like a footballer in a packed stadium, learn to discern what is background noise and the voices you need to listen for. Resilience and strength of character is built when there is friction between your vision and resistance from others. Keep going. Slow is still motion.
Your mission is more important. It is what separates you from everyone else. Let their poison fall on the soil of your mission, but neutralise them with truth and resilience. Let their poison fertilize your purpose. Their misgivings shouldn’t stop your mission.
You are the architect of your destiny. Treat bystanders and busybodies like Nehemiah in the Bible. Continue to build despite their noise. Don’t abandon your duty to attend to amplified irrelevance. Your greatness will speak for itself.
